Sandpipers

Support

Sandpipers is made by one person, so you'll hear back from the person who made it. Usually within two days.

Include the platform you play on, the device or computer, and the game version from the settings screen. For a bug, a screenshot or a short video helps more than anything.

Playing

How do I move the birds?

Press and hold anywhere on the sand and the flock gathers to your finger, cursor or reticle. Keep holding and move: they follow, and anything in their path gets hit beak first. Speed is damage, so a long run-up breaks more than a nudge. Big flocks hit harder. Hungry flocks are slower, so catch crabs when the tide is out.

Why does the water keep killing my birds?

That's the tide. Every level has its own rhythm. Wait for the water to pull back, then go. The moon fragments farthest out give you the least time, so count a few waves before you commit.

Does it work with a controller?

Yes. On Steam, Xbox controllers are fully supported through Steam Input, with rumble. On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, the game supports the Siri Remote and MFi, Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Full controller support means you never need a mouse or keyboard.

Is my progress saved?

Progress, stars and settings are saved on the device you play on. There is no cloud sync yet, so a new device starts fresh.

Purchases and refunds

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

The first levels are free and the full game is a single in-app purchase. If you bought it before and it shows as locked again, open the unlock screen and tap Restore while signed in with the same Apple Account. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Windows and macOS

The Steam version is the full game up front. Refunds follow Steam's refund policy and are requested through Steam Support, not through us.

Reporting a bug

Email support@playsandpipers.com with:

If the game crashed, the anonymous crash report it sends helps us too, but it can't tell us what you saw, so the note still matters.

Privacy

What the game collects, and what it doesn't, is on the privacy page. The short version: no accounts, no ads, anonymous analytics only.
